Clifton Community Council
The Clifton Community Council is an organization dedicated to the well being of the neighborhood bounded by Brownsboro Road on the north, Ewing Avenue on the east, I-64 on the south and Mellwood Avenue on the west. Located in Clifton is a vibrant business community. Both for-profit and nonprofit organization make valuable contributions. Cunningham Overhead Door and River City Tire have been good neighbors for almost 50 years and the American Printing House for the Blind and Kentucky School for the Blind have served the visually impaired for over one hundred years. These Clifton institutions are a big part of what makes our neighborhood special. The Clifton neighborhood has the largest population of people with blindness in the United States. We value the diversity of income, race, age and lifestyle as assets to be preserved and enhanced.

Crescent Hill Community Council
The history of Crescent Hill can be traced back to the original pioneer road of the 1780s. Upgraded as the Louisville-Lexington Turnpike in 1817, it is today’s Frankfort Avenue. With the coming of the Louisville Frankfort Railroad line in 1849, Crescent Hill became a true suburb. Early structures were joined by splendid homes as many prominent Louisvillians chose the area as the location for their "summer residences."
