The Frankfort Avenue Business Association invites you and your family and friends to the 18th Annual Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade, Saturday, April 3rd.
Last year’s parade was a tremendous success and lots of fun for the whole family.
This year’s Grand Marshall is 9th District Councilwoman, TINA WARD-PUGH AND THE EASTER BUNNY of course!
The parade will also include antique cars, Marching Bands, dance teams, horse drawn carriages, neighborhood groups and businesses, Shriner buggies and floats, Hwang’s Martial artists, plenty of families costumed for the event, dogs with rabbit ears, children with Easter bonnets and baskets and plenty of FREE candy!!
The FRANKFORT AVENUE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION will be giving out “Good Ears” awards for the most creative floats and outrageous Easter Bonnets. The Judges stand will be located in front of THE IRISH ROVER, 2319 FRANKFORT AVENUE. Those who wish to be considered for one of the awards will be asked to stop in front of the judges, then show off their Easter Style.
The fun of this parade is that ANYONE can participate. There is no sign up fee! Just show up! (Larger groups or organizations are asked to call in prior to the parade.) Any questions, please call Michaelle Warner, 419-6159.
The Parade begins at approximately 11:30 A.M. in front of St. Mark’s, 2822 Frankfort Ave. and heads towards downtown Louisville ending at Haldeman Avenue. Participants need to be on site at 11:00 a.m.
So don't forget your Easter Bonnet; come out and celebrate the return of spring on beautiful Frankfort Avenue!
